FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DOES THE BUILDING HAVE TO BE INSTALLED ON CONCRETE?

A concrete base is highly recommended, but isn't necessary. We can install on any surface as long as it is within 3" of level from side-to-side and from front-to-back.
Certain restrictions apply for raised surfaces.

DO YOU DO CONCRETE WORK?

We do not. You will need to seek a local concrete company to pour a slab for you.

WHAT IS A CERTIFIED BUILDING?

Certification is a rating for wind and snow loads that the building can withstand. Many counties require certification for a building permit to be acquired. Also, in cases of insuring the building, many insurers will not insure a building unless it has a wind/snow load certification.

WILL I NEED A PERMIT?

Permits are generally required for installations within city limits, whereas rural areas often do not. Check with your local county code office to see if you will need a permit.
